The first gameplay footage of Larian's Baldur's Gate 3 will be revealed live on stage during this years PAX conference. Swen Vincke Creative Director at Larian will be revealing details of the games story and mechanics with a "very special guest" joining him on stage.
There will also be a live Q&A session with the 1000 strong audience so hopefully some interesting questions will be asked. For those of us not in attendance, the reveal is also going to be streamed live on YouTube.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was announced at last year’s E3 and few details have so far been revealed about the game. Since then Larian has had to grow its studio to over 350 developers and create new technology all as part of "an adventure to make the best RPG ever made".
The announcement of the gameplay reveal also came with this teaser:
You are burdened with a great power devouring you from within.
How far down the path of darkness will you let it take you?
The fate of Faerûn is on your party’s shoulders.
Will you carry it to salvation, or descend with it to hell?
So it looks like we will have the option to take different paths through, over 100 hours worth of content in Baldur’s Gate 3. Maybe we’ll have to make difficult decisions that leave us facing a light vs dark inner conflict?
The reveal will take place February 27 at 15.00 ET/ 20.00 GMT and we are excited to find out more.
