Blizzard has temporarily changed its refund policy, in a move to appease the many Warcraft 3: Reforged players who feel the company failed to deliver on promises for the remastered real-time strategy game.

In a short note posted on Battle.net Blizzard said, "we want to give players the option of a refund if they feel that Warcraft III: Reforged does not provide the experience they wanted. So, we’ve decided to allow refunds upon request for the time being."

The game released last week and many feel it didn't live up to what was announced at Blizzcon 2018. In addition the release seems to be littered with technical bugs and expected features missing, you can read our review here.

Blizzard's note on refunds in full:

Blizzard stands by the quality of our products and our services. Normally we set limits for refund availability on a game, based on time since purchase and whether it has been used. However we want to give players the option of a refund if they feel that Warcraft III: Reforged does not provide the experience they wanted. So, we’ve decided to allow refunds upon request for the time being. You may request a refund here on our Support Site.

Patches are planned to address gamers concerns, but for now if you want you can get a no quibble refund
