Today CD Projekt RED made a post on its social media accounts that no gamer will have wanted to see. Unfortunately, the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed for six months to allow for extra polishing.

The post made it clear that the game is complete and fully playable but due to the scale and complexity of Night City more time was needed for "play testing, fixing and polishing" the game.

As a result, Cyberpunk 2077 has been given the new release date of 17th September, so for everyone who is as excited as we are the wait goes on.
