If you've ever fancied been a scrap dealer in space, now is your chance thanks to the developers behind Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is heading to Steam's early access this summer and will give you the opportunity to discover, dismantle and salvage two classes of spaceship. The game will initially launch with the first act available and features such as the ability to upgrade your tools and perks.

Over the course of early access, Blackbird Interactive say they are committed to releasing more spaceship, missions, challenges, leaderboards, modding support based on the feedback they receive from those taking up early access.

"We identified early in development that we wanted to release Hardspace: Shipbreaker on Early Access. We have a clear vision for what we think the game wants to be but there are still some things we need to figure out and we thought it would be fun to bring in the Early Access community to help us discover these things together." says Trey Smith, Creative Director on Hardspace: Shipbreaker.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker will be available on early access this summer. You can more details on Steam.
