The third instalment in Amplitude Studios’ Humankind’s feature focus video series has arrived, and provides new details on how cities and regions grow in the upcoming strategy game.
The video reveals that rather than been fixed, territories in Humankind will be dynamic and change as your cities grow. You will also be able to define districts within your cities in order to take advantage of different tile types.
Senior Game Designer William Dyce, goes on to reveal that as a city grows it will look to specialise in certain resources based on which resources were available in the area in which it was first built, in order to make each city have “a realistic unique feel, like a real place”.
The video discusses how the strategic decisions you make in the game can affect the way in which your cities will look, and how you will be able to leave your mark in Humankind by building “Wonders”.
Humankind is set to be released later this year!
