Eight years have passed since it was first announced. But medieval sandbox game Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is set to arrive in early access at the end of March a post on the games twitter account has revealed.
Like its predecessor Mount & Blade II is set in a huge medieval sandbox world in which you can carve out almost any life imaginable. Become a bounty hunter, raise an army and lay siege to castles or just settle down and raise a family.
The game will utilise a realistic economy with the availability of goods changing over time. This in turn affects the price of certain items allowing players to take advantage of situations as they arise.
Extensive character creation and progression is also set to be a major factor, and has been designed to allow you to create and develop your character based on your playing style.
It wasn’t revealed exactly how much of the game will playable when early access begins on 31st March. But we do know in addition to the single player campaign, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord will also feature a multiplayer mode that allows players to engage in combat ranging from small scale skirmishes to epic large scale sieges.
Mount & Blade II will be available both on Steam and Epic Games Store priced at $49.99/€49.99/£39.99.
