Square Enix has revealed a new gameplay video, for RPG shooter Outriders. The game is currently in development by People Can Fly and Square Enix External Studios.

Set in what is described in a dark and desperate universe, Outriders sees you embark on a quest across a hostile planet that features shanty towns, forests, mountains and deserts. Outriders is promising players a combination of "intense gunplay with violent powers, along with an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets".

"It’s incredibly exciting to finally reveal what we have been working on for the last four years," said Bartek Kmita, Game Director at People Can Fly. "Outriders is our first game since leaving Epic Games, and has grown from an idea of the game we always wanted to make, to the most ambitious project People Can Fly has ever undertaken."

Outriders has been given a release window of during the 2020 holiday season, so you can expect to see it from October onward.
