Overwatch’s 32nd hero, Echo is now available to play on PC in the Public Test Realm. Described as a multirole evolutionary robot Echo is at the cutting edge of technology and classed as a damage category hero.
Echo comes with Tri-shot primary fire and sticky bombs as secondary fire. Echo is able to surge forward then fly freely and glide whilst falling. She is also able to inflict massive damage on enemies at half health using her focusing beam. But, her pièce de résistance is her ability to use an enemy’s abilities against them, targeting an enemy hero she is able to gain use of their abilities for a short period of time.
Designed by Dr Mina Liao, one of the earliest members of Overwatch Echo was created to be adaptive. Able to learn different functions ranging from construction to medical support Echo struggled with independent decision making, but was able to learn from observation and as a result took on a lot of her creators’ traits.
